My Review:

I really enjoyed this book. Told in two timelines and by two different points of view this is my favourite type of book and historical southern fiction at that. While I thought Ashlee's parts were okay I absolutely LOVED Mattie's chapters and wish the whole book was just about her...it would have made this a five star read for me.
