I loved this novel. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the description - certainly something a little quirky. I didn’t expect the depth of the emotions of Breeda Looney and how much I would root for her and be inspired by her journey. The writing was lively and the book constantly held my attention.

I've never so loved a book I didn't even intend to like. Breeda's perspective was both endearing and honest, and it was just touching to see her come out of her shell and work toward living her best life over the course of the book. There's much I could say but little of which wouldn't spoil the novel. Let's just say it was a wonderfully human story, and like a long overdue visit with an old friend...You are sad the visit is over but it lifts your spirits and warms your heart. This was a beautiful and entirely unexpected read. I absolutely recommend it.
